Captain America and Nazis in Fiction

June 29, 2012 at 1:03 am

The good folks at Orbit recently invited me to write a pair of guest posts for their blog.  The first has just gone up.

If you'd like to know why people constantly make jokes about Vita-Rays in my presence, or if you'd like to know how many times I've punched Hitler*, it might be worth a read.

And, as a reminder, there was a wheelbarrow load of updates the other day, including a contest, and weird brain-wave stuff.

If it helps, you still look like Kemal Ataturk to me.

I have to say, when I saw the film I thought the same thing. And we've only met once! (OK, maybe not quite so cinematic-exaggeration scrawny!)

Wow, that's amazing to me. (Was I wearing the spangly outfit with the helmet/mask when we met?) Now I'm even more befuddled...

Strangely enough, I don't hear that as often as you might think.

No, no spangles. I think it was mostly the facial structure & hair color. FYI I was the guy at WFC in Columbus a couple of years ago that told you that everyone on the "Years Best Fantasy" panel was spooging about Bitter Seeds.

No, no spangles. I think it was mostly the facial structure & hair color. I think Columbus was also the convention where I got into that bar fight with the Red Skull. No, seriously though, I remember that -- it was really cool of you to seek me out and let me know. Much appreciated, sir.
