I’ll post a full report on my recent trip to Boston and New York tomorrow. But, in the meantime, here’s some news!
Bitter Seeds now has a tentative publication date (well, season): Winter, 2010
So, it should be hitting shelves about a year from now (January-March, roughly). O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
This release date came out of lunch with my editor last week, where we decided that given the ongoing economic apocalypse, 2009 wasn’t the best year to rush a book into production.
Frabjous day indeed! Congrats, and I can’t wait to read it!
When I first heard Winter 2010 I thought that meant November-December 2010. I’m happy to see that it means January-February 2010 instead.
A year seems such a long time away, but if history is any indication it will go quickly. Since you and I have both been placed in that winter slot I’m going to hope for an upturn in the economy. Actually, I’d hope for an improvement at any rate, but I really hope our books sell.
Callooh! Callay! indeed. I can’t wait to hound you from con to con demanding you sign dozens of copies, all of which I intend to sell on ebay for enough money to jump start the economy.
