A long time ago I wrote a short story that involved robot sharks. It was one of the first pieces I sold, and I admit I still like that story, years later.
So I was pleasantly surprised to discover today’s Dilbert comic features a similar idea.
I think Alice is on to something here. But obviously the correct term for a robot shark must be “mechalodon“. Duh.
[ETA: Special note for Pam Who Knows Who She Is: Uh, don’t follow that link. Unless you already did. In which case, sorry.]
Robot sharks are, of course, funny. From those wires dangling from your head we know that you are psychic.
I guess the third option is that I’m a time traveler. Which is not mutually exclusive with the others, now that you point it out.
Thank you for the heads-up, dude. Even comic book sharks are nightmare-inducing. Not as bad as “Great Barrier Reef” or “Earthflight” (yes, they managed to shoe-horn Great White footage into a bird documentary, don’t ask me how), but still bad enough.
“Come Dancefight” is one of my favorite stories of yours, but I still have trouble reading it. 🙂
P.S. The Coldest War is available for pre-order on Amazon.co.uk. Wee!
