Well, gosh.  It’s been a while coming, but today I finally get to say, “Congratulations, you plucky little manuscript.  Today you become a real book!”

Today marks the US publication of THE MECHANICAL, the first volume in my new Alchemy Wars trilogy.  Thursday will mark the UK publication.

RELEASE DAY! Something More Than Night is Out

You know what?  I cannot imagine a future scenario where I tire of saying, “So, yeah, hey, by the way, my new book is officially published today.”  Because, sheesh, I have to admit it’s a fun thing to say.

In fact, I think I’ll do it right now. 

My newest novel, Something More Than Night, is officially published today!

Something More Than Night Rated One of the Best of 2013

I am extremely excited that my first non-Milkweed novel, and my second novel for 2013, hits shelves in less than two weeks!  So I’ll probably be talking about Something More Than Night a fair bit over the next few weeks.

I can’t help it.  In some ways it’s my favorite book of anything I’ve written, and I’m just plum thrilled to see it finally making its way into the world.

So I was overjoyed when Kirkus included Something More Than Night in its list of the best SFF novels of 2013.
