Clarion Is Accepting Applications for the Class of 2013

Posted on January 27, 2013 by eidolon

I just received this reminder in my email: the Clarion Writers’ Workshop is accepting applications for the class of 2013.  The application period is open through March 1.  (And it opened in December, though I neglected to mention that at the time.)  Also open for applications right now are Clarion West, Odyssey, and Taos Toolbox!

The lineup of instructors at each of these workshops is, as ever, phenomenal.  I would encourage anybody who wants to become serious about their writing to consider a residential workshop, whether it be Odyssey, Taos, or one of the Clarions  (which includes Clarion South, may it find its feet again soon).

Workshops aren’t for everybody, but they can be wonderful.  They’re hard work, and sometimes stressful.  But it’s not hyperbole and it isn’t a figure of speech when I say Clarion changed my life.  I am deeply grateful for the experience; attending Clarion is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

    FYI –

The Joe Rogan podcast had Timothy Ferriss on, who discusses new funding for DCtS at university of california san fransico. When I heard it, I instantly thought of your books.
