Richard did a magnificent job designing and building this site, so I couldn’t be more delighted to see his work receiving the recognition it deserves. When he first unveiled his concept art to me, I was speechless. On the basis of a few email conversations, he managed to distill so many of the things I find interesting into a single coherent look and feel. Great work.
Less than two weeks ago, this site was featured as one of the Daily Deviations on deviantART. And we’ve received great recognition at Cool Home Pages, too. (Richard’s own site is receiving even higher ratings there, and after a much shorter period of time, too!)
Anyway, those of you who have been waiting breathlessly for that logical explanation of my encounter with the union-busting squirrel will get it soon. Promise.

And thanks for getting Trabuco Road back online. I’m still sorry that work/life issues forced you to close it down (though I completely understand the reasoning). I hope that someday you’ll take another stab at editorial efforts. You have a strong eye for story, and I’d say that even if you hadn’t bought one of mine 😉
That is so cool that the site is getting such recognition!! It really is the perfect ‘teaser’ for your book. But it feels like so much more. As if we are all able to peek into some wonderfully eclectic laboratory. Love it!
By the way, that story of the squirrel… precious!! I can’t wait to find out the explanation. I have an affinity for squirrels (they appear in a lot of my artwork), so this charmed me to no end. 😀

(Getting attention, I mean– not making me feel naked. That would be a very different website, and possibly illegal…) Our hits really started taking off thanks to your recommendation on deviantART, so I’m grateful to you.
