Fantasy Book Critic has posted a new review of Bitter Seeds. They’re calling it “hands down the best debut of 2010 so far.” It’s early in the year, so my poor little book is sure to be eclipsed a few times between now and December, but I’ll take it!
Other choice excerpts below the cut.
“…I had not really expected the awesome novel that ‘Bitter Seeds’ turned out to be.”
“…’Bitter Seeds’ was one of those novels I could not put down until I finished it and reread it immediately to get the subtler nuances I missed on my first read.”
“…but most of all ‘Bitter Seeds’ shines in its characters about which we get to care a lot and in the style which is just superb.”
“Based on writing quality and main characters ‘Bitter Seeds’ (A++) is hands down the best debut of 2010 so far.” [emphasis in the original]
I think they liked it! (Whew…) If only every Monday morning could be like this.
Of course they liked it. It’s good. Now I can’t wait to read the second one.
Well, I’ll probably have to wait a few days since Amazon will likely take a few days getting it to me, but if I can’t put it down, it’s probably best saved for the weekend anyway.
