Boskone 46, Lensmen 0

Posted on February 3, 2009January 8, 2025 by eidolon

I’ll be attending Boskone 46 in lovely Boston, Massachusetts on the weekend of February 13-15.  (Soon!) I’m looking forward to it.  I’ve never attended a Boskone, but I hear nothing but good things about the convention.

I didn’t decide until relatively late in the game that I’d be making the trip to Boston.  Even so, the concom has even been kind enough to put me on programming, listed below.

Moving to Big Iron

Posted on February 1, 2009January 8, 2025 by eidolon

We’ve migrated the site to a new server today.  Since I’ve just recently moved house, it seemed like the logical time to move my website, too.  Well, that and the fact that Richard just installed a gigantic piece of hardware in his basement.    Not to mention the fact that he said, “Hey, I just installed a gigantic piece of hardware in my basement.  Wanna migrate your site over here?”

I like Christmas music. Truly, I do. But come on, furniture store. Freakin’ Jingle Bell Rock?!? What the hell did I ever do to you?

So I find myself wishing the people who selected songs for that tinny, canned on-hold music had more eclectic tastes.

The State of the World: Busted

Posted on December 9, 2008January 8, 2025 by eidolon

Once again, I’ve failed to keep this blog updated in a timely fashion. I’ve been working like mad on Milkweed #2, The Coldest War, and of course my day job. And, more significantly, I bought my first house just 2 weeks ago. (Closed on the day before Thanksgiving, as a matter of fact.) So now, on top of everything else, I’m in the middle of moving/buying furniture/hauling dead refrigerators away.

But the big news today, of course, is that the newest Wild Cards novel, Busted Flush, is now available.

Tomorrow is All Hallows’ Day, making today, of course, Hallowmas Eve. In honor of the holiday, allow me to commend this story to your readerly attention.
